The Sacred Window: Rebuilding My Subconscious After A Traumatic Injury.

ree

My ability to consciously alter my subconscious emerged from a traumatic injury. Grounded in neuroscience, psychology, and spiritual resilience, here is a summary of the transformative experience that could inspire a significant shift in your life as well.

After the injury, I realized I had a rare window: not just to heal, but to transform. My neurologist explained that during recovery, the brain enters a heightened state of neuroplasticity—a powerful time when old patterns can be interrupted and new ones formed more easily.

Instead of letting the brain rebuild the same wiring, I began to reprogram it with purpose.

Neuroplasticity: Rewriting the Script

In this state, I planted new beliefs through:

  • Daily affirmations and healing thoughts

  • Mindfulness, journaling, and creative rituals

  • Visualization, breathwork, and movement

  • Energy work, acupuncture, and sacred practices like sage clearing & salt.

Because my brain was already in repair mode, these practices didn’t just help—they imprinted deeply. I began using emotional energy as a tool—not to re-live pain, but to re-code it.

At some level, I believe my soul made a choice to come back different. To reclaim my mind, my body, and my story. This wasn’t just healing—it was transformation.

Self-Awareness as a Gateway

Trauma stripped me down, but in that rawness, I became more self-aware.I observed my thoughts instead of identifying with them.Using what would later become the Mirror Mirror Approach, I reframed the story I was living—not just to survive, but to rewrite it.

I wasn’t just healing.I was becoming.

Accessing Altered States of Consciousness

Post-TBI, I began experiencing lucid dreams, heightened intuition, and moments of expanded awareness. These altered states became gateways into the subconscious—like secret doors into the house of my own mind.

Instead of reliving pain, I learned to observe it, release it, and replace it with something better: truth, worth, and deep-rooted love.

Emotionally Charged Healing

The intensity of the trauma acted like a spotlight, revealing old programming buried in shame, fear, and scarcity. Rather than run from it, I chose to meet it with presence.

We are what our thoughts make us."Marcus Aurelius

And from that place, I rebuilt. With self-care as my compass, I rewrote the blueprint of who I believed myself to be.

The Soul’s Choice to Return

I believe healing wasn’t just neurological—it was spiritual. Some part of my soul chose to come back with purpose: to sing, to write, to guide.

“I want to believe each of us came to this planet to offer our unique gifts in community and be enriched by the unity of collective contribution.”

Every soul carries a frequency no one else can replicate. We aren’t here to compete—we’re here to co-create. When we reclaim our truth, we don’t just heal ourselves. We strengthen the whole.

“If you have come to help me, you are wasting your time. But if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together.”Lilla Watson

Healing, like life, is not meant to be done alone. We rise—together.
